URGENT MEDICARE CHANGES

Telehealth for Psychiatry Patients

Medicare’s coverage rules have changed!

Effective October 1, 2025, Medicare will no longer cover psychiatry telehealth visits for many beneficiaries due to the recent federal government shutdown. Because of this, next week we must convert your telepsychiatry visit to an in-office appointment in order for it to be covered under Medicare. We are optimistic that this change is only temporary.

Move to In-Person
We would like to schedule you for an in-person psychiatry appointment if possible. If transportation is a barrier/challenge, we can help arrange it or provide support to ensure you can get to one of our sites.
Reschedule Your Appointment
If you prefer or need to reschedule to a more convenient date/time, we can also do that.
Medication Refills
If you will need medication refills before we see you in person, we will work with you and our pharmacy team to ensure you do not run out, either by bridging or interim prescriptions, as allowable.

Thank you so much for your understanding!

We appreciate your flexibility during this time. If you think of questions later, you can always call us at 216-325-WELL (9355), and again we will support you with scheduling, transportation, and medication management.
