The Centers is a nonprofit focusing on health and human services with a rich history of serving the region’s most vulnerable populations. Our mission is to fight for equity by healing, teaching, and inspiring individuals and families to reach their full potential. 

What is an Associate Board?

The Associate Board is a group of passionate young professionals looking to make an impact in our community. The Associate Board promotes the mission, goals, and objectives of The Centers through vibrant, community-minded professionals and volunteers. The Associate Board embraces a comprehensive strategy of community outreach through awareness, education, social and fundraising activities, with a focus on young professionals.

Requirements to Join

  • Commitment: Allocate approximately 2-5 hours per month to participate in board meetings and activities.
  • Eligibility: Be under 40 years old at the time of election and a member of the Greater Cleveland community.
  • Engagement: Attend at least 75% of monthly board and committee meetings, actively participate in discussions, and serve on at least one committee.
  • Contribution: Support The Centers through a personal or solicited donation of at least $100 annually.
  • Orientation: Attend a new member orientation within your first year.
