As state Rep. Bride Rose Sweeney thought about what she wanted to say at the ribbon-cutting for the Glick Recovery Campus, she kept coming back to everything it took to reach that moment: years of planning, more than $34 million to turn a former medical office building into a behavioral health crisis center, a long list of public and private partners and a last-minute funding fight that put the entire project in jeopardy.
