March 25, 2026
The New "Glick Recovery Campus " at The Centers will open in 2026, providing 24/7, low-barrier, compassionate care to Cuyahoga County residents.
CLEVELAND, OH — Wednesday, March 25, 2026 | The Centers, one of Northeast Ohio’s largest and most comprehensive behavioral health providers, is proud to announce that the new Behavioral Health Crisis Center, currently under development on the former St. Vincent Charity Medical Center campus, will be named the Glick Recovery Campus in honor of a transformative gift from JoAnn and Bob Glick.
This new facility, slated to open in September 2026, will serve as the front door to the behavioral health system in Cuyahoga County, offering immediate, specialized care for individuals experiencing mental health or substance use crises, as well as house The Centers’ community health clinic which offers outpatient behavioral health services, primary care and pharmacy.
“We are deeply honored and humbled by the Glicks’ dedication to our community,” said Eric Morse, President and CEO of The Centers. “Their generous support allows us to reimagine crisis care in Cleveland, transforming how we respond to our neighbors in need, moving away from emergency rooms and jails toward a safe, welcoming, and dignity-focused space.”
The Glick Recovery Campus at The Centers will feature:
- A 40-chair, “living room” model crisis clinic, focusing on stabilization.
- Walk-in Behavioral Health Urgent Care with an on-site pharmacy.
- 16-bed psychiatric stabilization and 12-bed withdrawal management units.
- 24/7 operation with peer-support specialists, nurses, and psychiatric providers.
By providing a dedicated space for crisis care and healing, the Glick Recovery Campus will touch approximately 12,000 lives annually, offering a path to recovery.
JoAnn and Bob Glick are renowned for their dedication to community health, access to compassionate care, and mental health initiatives across Cuyahoga County. “Our mission is to ensure that everyone in our community has access to high-quality care, especially in their most vulnerable moments,” said JoAnn and Bob Glick in a joint statement. “We believe that this new Recovery Campus is a game-changer for Cleveland, providing the right care, in the right place, at the right time. We are proud to partner with The Centers and the community to bring this vision to life.”
The total cost of the project is $34.3 million. Through the generous support of the Glicks, Cuyahoga County Opioid Fund, the ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County, the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health, Sisters of Charity Health System and other philanthropic partners, most of the project is funded. However, a $2.7 million funding gap remains. The Glicks and The Centers are calling on the community to help cross the finish line.
