Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC)
In 2022, The Centers was proud to launch one of the very first Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) clinics in the State of Ohio. Today, we are excited to share the next evolution of that groundbreaking model. Effective September 14, 2026, we will transition our current behavioral health urgent care services that were offered at our Uptown and Gordon Square locations to the Glick Recovery Campus (GRC), continuing our legacy of evolving behavioral health crisis care to improve service delivery.
At the GRC, our behavioral health urgent care services will broaden to include a full continuum of care. This transition will establish a true 24/7 “front door” for crisis care in Cuyahoga County, providing walk-in support, psychiatric stabilization and withdrawal management supported by a health care center that will offer primary care, behavioral health services, and much more.
We know that our community has come to trust and utilize the BHUCs so it is important that we share the upcoming, two-phased transition plan and changes with you.

- On-Site Pharmacy: Medication refills and pharmacy support will remain available on-site to minimize barriers to care.
